“The Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-up Sale has delivered a remarkable 43 individual Group/Listed performers since 2023 which is ample evidence of the great value to be found,” said Tattersalls managing director Matthew Prior.

“This year’s catalogue looks to have plenty of quality and diversity which will appeal to the usual cross section of domestic and international buyers who frequent Park Paddocks.

“The catalogue also features 151 horses in training which only adds to the appeal of this unique fixture ahead of Guineas weekend in Newmarket.”

Of the 151 lots catalogued in the Horses In Training section, Consign Ltd will offer the largest consignment of 23 lots, followed closely by Jamie Railton whose draft of 22 includes a partial dispersal of nine horses from Jim and Claire Ltd, while the Castlebridge Consignment has a draft of 20 lots.

Meanwhile, an 11-strong Juddmonte draft features a number of unraced three-year-old colts in training, including Summons (lot 124), a son of Sea The Stars and the GI Matriarch Stakes winner Viadera (Bated Breath), and Sarpedon (Kingman), a full-brother to the G3 Hampton Court Stakes winner and G1 Dewhurst Stakes fourth Sangarius.

The two-year-olds will breeze at Newmarket’s Rowley Mile Racecourse from 9am on Wednesday, April 29. The Horses in Training section gets underway at 9.30am on Thursday, April 30, followed immediately by the Guineas Breeze-up lots.
